PRAYER MINISTRY
Prayer is about communicating with God, more than speaking to God, it is also hearing from Him. Prayer is a way to support and care for others through intercession as well as a way to connect with others in prayer groups and gatherings. A life of prayer is a life constantly being changed by the power of Jesus Christ.
At Basehor United Methodist Church we are learning about prayer, practicing prayer and experiencing its power.
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
Our Prayer Shawl Ministry provides hand knit or quilted shawls for anyone in need of a gentle reminder of God’s love. We provide these shawls, free of charge, for anyone going through times of grief, illness, or difficult times. Every shawl is prayed over as they’re made. Please contact our church office if you or someone you know would like to receive one of these special shawls.
