Since 1877, Basehor UMC has been rooted in God’s love and faithful to His call. Our history shows how God has carried this congregation through every season, building a foundation of worship, fellowship, and mission. Scripture encourages us, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness” (Colossians 2:6–7).
Today, we continue to grow from those deep roots and reach forward in hope — creating a welcoming church home for the next generation and strengthening our capacity to share Christ’s love with our community.
Through the Rooted & Reaching campaign, we are raising $100,000 to complete four key projects that will renew and enhance our church building and ministries. Each household is invited to prayerfully consider how they might participate in this effort as we invest together in the future God is preparing for Basehor UMC.
